Some exterior buildings are currently being painted; however, they are not interfering with guest amenities.
Beginning September 3, 2008 through September 12, 2008, the Sundial Beach & Golf Resort main pool will be closed for maintenance. Four additional resort pools will be open for guest enjoyment. Crocodials, located on the pool deck, will also be open during this time. Our recreation staff will be available for Kids Camp, Eco Center, beach chairs and bikes. The lawn area will be available for guest relaxation and access to the beach. The pool will be blocked off with a barrier. Warning signs will be visible as guests approach the pool area.
Sundial Beach & Golf Resort is located on Sanibel Island, a unique barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico that is two thirds nature preserve. Southwest Florida International Airport is approximately 19 miles away.
Resort amenities include five heated pools, tennis courts, complimentary high speed wireless Internet, children's programs, access to miles of paved bike paths around the island, and access to the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sundial Cycles and Sails has non-motorized boats including hobie cats, kayaks, sailboats, paddle boats, and windsurfers.
All studios, one and two-bedroom accommodations feature kitchens and balconies or lanais.
