Hyatt Regency Newport Hotel & Spa is nearing completion of its' extensive renovations. The guestrooms, lobby bar, Stillwater Spa, Windward Restaurant, and fitness room have all been completed.
The indoor pool and new parking garage will be completed by end of June 2008. Please note the outdoor pool overlooking Naragansett Bay will be open.
The Hyatt Regency Newport is located on Newport's private Goat Island, approximately a quarter-mile from downtown with views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay. Newport's shops, mansions, yachts, and historic attractions are within walking distance. Newport Shuttle operates hourly service from Providence Airport to Newport hotels for approximately 15 a person. Taxis are also available and cost roughly 50 from the airport to the hotel.
Hotel amenities include the spa and health club (8/day or 12 for the length of the stay) with exercise bike, free weights, indoor and outdoor pool, lifecycle, massage treatments, the Newport Spa, sauna, and treadmill. There are also golf and horse riding facilities nearby (availably during high season--May through September).
All rooms have coffeemakers, irons and iron boards, hairdryers, room service, and cable TV.
